DECODING THE LIFE OF MASHAHA (MOSES):
The True Timeline from Goshen to Ka-Wa-Sha (Cush) to the Exodus
A Three-Source Synthesis: Sha-Ma-Tha (Exodus) | Ya-Sha-Ra (Jasher) | Ya-Ba-La-Ya-Ma (Jubilees)
PREAMBLE: WHY THE TRADITIONAL TIMELINE FAILS
Among the most significant corruptions embedded in conventional scriptural interpretation is the claim that Ma-Sha-Ha (Moses) was forty years old when he killed the Egyptian taskmaster in Goshen. This figure — derived not from the text of Sha-Ma-Tha (Exodus) itself, but from a later interpretive tradition and an imprecise reading of Acts 7:23 — has been repeated so frequently that it has displaced the actual chronological record preserved in the 126+ book canon.
Sha-Ma-Tha (Exodus) 2:11 says only this: that 'when Ma-Sha-Ha had grown up' he went out to see his brethren. The text does not specify his age. Acts 7:23 introduces a number — but that number reflects a theological framework of three forty-year blocks (forty years in the palace, forty years in exile, forty years leading the Exodus) that is a later schematic overlay, not a chronological record.
The Book of Ya-Sha-Ra (Jasher) — one of two books directly cited by name within the canonized text of the Scriptures themselves (Ya-Ha-Wa-Sha-Ai / Joshua 10:13 and 2nd Sha-Ma-Wa-Ah-La / Samuel 1:18) — provides the detailed chronological record that Sha-Ma-Tha deliberately summarizes. The Book of Ya-Ba-La-Ya-Ma (Jubilees) — itself a revelation given to Ma-Sha-Ha on Ha-Ra Sa-Ya-Na-Ya (Mount Sinai) — provides the Jubilee-cycle structural framework that confirms Ya-Sha-Ra's biological chronology from a different record-keeping standpoint. Together, they form a coherent, mathematically verifiable account that obliterates the conventional forty-year assumption entirely.
CRITICAL CORRECTION
Ma-Sha-Ha (Moses) was 18 years old — not 40 — when he killed the Egyptian taskmaster in Goshen and fled Ma-Taza-Ra-Ya-Ma (Egypt). He was 27 years old when he was crowned King of Ka-Wa-Sha (Cush). He was 80 years old when he returned to Egypt and stood before Pharaoh. The conventional 40-year palace residence is a theological schematic, not a chronological record.
PART I — THE GENEALOGY OF MA-SHA-HA THROUGH LA-WA-YA'S LINE
Before the timeline can be properly understood, the genealogical foundation must be established. Ma-Sha-Ha (Moses) is a pure-line descendant of La-Wa-Ya (Levi), the third son of Ya-Ai-Qa-Ba (Jacob/Yasharahlah) and La-Ah-Ha (Leah). His lineage runs through four generations — Ya-Ai-Qa-Ba → La-Wa-Ya → Qa-Ha-Tha → Ah-Ha-Ra-Ma → Ma-Sha-Ha — all documented in Sha-Ma-Tha (Exodus) Chapter 6 and confirmed in Ba-Ma-Da-Ba-Ra (Numbers) 3 and 26.
The most theologically remarkable element of this genealogy is the marriage of Ah-Ha-Ra-Ma (Amram) to Ya-Wa-Ka-Ba-Da (Jochebed), who is identified in Sha-Ma-Tha (Exodus) 6:20 as the 'daughter of La-Wa-Ya, who was born to La-Wa-Ya in Ma-Taza-Ra-Ya-Ma.' This means Jochebed is Amram's paternal aunt — his father Kohath's sister — making Ma-Sha-Ha the product of a fully La-Wa-Ya-pure lineage on both his father's and mother's side. This is not incidental. It underscores the covenant precision with which Yahawah selected the vessel for Hathawaratha (The Law).

Sha-Ma-Tha (Exo) 2:1-2; 6:20
The full line from Ya-Ai-Qa-Ba to Ma-Sha-Ha spans four documented generations in Goshen — Ya-Ai-Qa-Ba → La-Wa-Ya → Qa-Ha-Tha → Ah-Ha-Ra-Ma (who married Ya-Wa-Ka-Ba-Da, daughter of La-Wa-Ya) → Ma-Sha-Ha. This places the Exodus approximately 215 years after the descent to Ma-Taza-Ra-Ya-Ma — the timeline confirmed by the Septuagint and Ya-Ba-La-Ya-Ma (Jubilees), not the 430-year Masoretic calculation which combines the sojourn in both Ka-Na-Ai-Na (Canaan) and Ma-Taza-Ra-Ya-Ma.
PART II — THE THREE-SOURCE SYNTHESIS
SOURCE 1: SHA-MA-THA (EXODUS) — The Foundational Record
Sha-Ma-Tha gives us the essential facts but deliberately summarizes the decades-long narrative of Ma-Sha-Ha's pre-Exodus life. The key passages are:
Sha-Ma-Tha (Exodus) 2:11-15
"And it came to pass in those days, when Ma-Sha-Ha had grown up, that he went out to his brothers and looked on their burdens, and he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew man, one of his brothers... He struck down the Egyptian and hid him in the sand... When Pharaoh heard of it, he sought to kill Ma-Sha-Ha. But Ma-Sha-Ha fled from the face of Pharaoh and dwelt in the land of Ma-Da-Ya-Na (Midian)."
Sha-Ma-Tha (Exodus) 7:7
"Ma-Sha-Ha was eighty years old, and Ah-Ha-Ra-Na (Aaron) was eighty-three years old, when they spoke to Pharaoh."
Notice what Sha-Ma-Tha does NOT say: it does not say Ma-Sha-Ha was forty. It says he 'had grown up' — a phrase denoting maturity that could apply to a young man of 18 as naturally as to a man of 40. The age of 80 at the Exodus is explicitly confirmed and anchors the entire chronology.
SOURCE 2: YA-SHA-RA (JASHER) — The Detailed Chronological Record
Ya-Sha-Ra is not an 'alternative' or 'apocryphal' source. It is a book explicitly named within the canonized text of the Scriptures and was clearly in circulation and considered authoritative. It provides the detailed biographical narrative that Sha-Ma-Tha deliberately compresses.
Ya-Sha-Ra (Jasher) 71:1
"And when Ma-Sha-Ha was eighteen years old, he desired to see his father and mother and he went to them in Goshen... and he saw an Egyptian smiting one of his Hebrew brethren."
Ya-Sha-Ra (Jasher) 73:2
"Ma-Sha-Ha was twenty-seven years old when he began to reign over Ka-Wa-Sha (Cush), and forty years did he reign over them."
Ya-Sha-Ra fills the gap between Ma-Sha-Ha's flight from Egypt and his arrival in Ma-Da-Ya-Na (Midian) — a gap that the conventional reading of Sha-Ma-Tha has no account for. That gap is nine years, during which Ma-Sha-Ha traveled southward, encountered the army of Ka-Ka-Ya-Na-Wa-Sa (Kikianus), King of Ka-Wa-Sha (Cush), whose capital city was under siege by the treacherous Ba-La-Ai-Ma (Balaam), and rose through the ranks of the Cushite military to become the decisive strategic mind of the nine-year siege.
THE ROLE OF BA-LA-AI-MA (BALAAM) IN THE CUSH NARRATIVE
This episode carries significant doctrinal weight. Ba-La-Ai-Ma (Balaam) is not introduced in Ya-Sha-Ra as a marginal figure. He is the one who betrayed Ka-Ka-Ya-Na-Wa-Sa while the king was at war, fortified the capital with sorcery, and installed himself as its ruler. Ma-Sha-Ha's eventual defeat of Ba-La-Ai-Ma's defenses — and Ba-La-Ai-Ma's flight back to Ma-Taza-Ra-Ya-Ma (Egypt) to serve Pharaoh — establishes the doctrinal context for Ba-La-Ai-Ma's later appearance in Ba-Ma-Da-Ba-Ra (Numbers), where he is hired by Ba-La-Ai-Qa (Balak) King of Ma-Wa-Ah-Ba (Moab) to curse Yasharahlah. The same man Ma-Sha-Ha defeated as King of Ka-Wa-Sha was the same man Yahawah turned against Ma-Wa-Ah-Ba (Moab) in Ba-Ma-Da-Ba-Ra 22-24. This is not coincidence. It is covenant narrative continuity.
SOURCE 3: YA-BA-LA-YA-MA (JUBILEES) — The Jubilee-Cycle Structural Confirmation
Ya-Ba-La-Ya-Ma was given to Ma-Sha-Ha on Ha-Ra Sa-Ya-Na-Ya (Mount Sinai) — it is a divine revelation of the history of creation from the beginning through the Exodus, structured around Jubilee cycles of 49 years and weeks of years of 7. It does not record biographical ages in the same way Ya-Sha-Ra does. Instead, it marks events by Jubilee periods — formal legal and covenant milestones rather than biological birthdays.
Ya-Ba-La-Ya-Ma 47:9-10 records that Ma-Sha-Ha completed 'three weeks of years' (21 years) before entering the royal court, and another 'three weeks of years' (21 years) at court before going out to defend his kinsman. The key insight — and the resolution of any apparent tension between Ya-Sha-Ra's biological age of 18 and Ya-Ba-La-Ya-Ma's six weeks of years — is that Ya-Ba-La-Ya-Ma is recording legal court milestones, not biological ages. Ya-Sha-Ra records when Ma-Sha-Ha physically went to Goshen (age 18 biologically). Ya-Ba-La-Ya-Ma records when his court status formally placed him in the position to do so (the six-weeks-of-years legal milestone). They are recording the same event from two different record-keeping systems — one biographical, one juridical.
Ya-Ba-La-Ya-Ma (Jubilees) 48:1
"And in the sixth year of the third week of the forty-ninth jubilee, thou didst depart and dwell in the land of Ma-Da-Ya-Na (Midian), five weeks and one year."
Five weeks of years (5 x 7 = 35 years) plus one additional year = 36 years in Ma-Da-Ya-Na. When the math is run from age 18 (Jasher's biological age at departure), 36 years of exile produces age 54... but wait: Ma-Sha-Ha was 27 when crowned King of Ka-Wa-Sha, reigned 40 years until age 67, then spent 13 years in Ma-Da-Ya-Na before the burning bush at age 80. The 'five weeks and one year' of Ya-Ba-La-Ya-Ma 48:1 refers specifically to the Midian period plus the nine years of pre-Cush travel — the total years spent outside of Ma-Taza-Ra-Ya-Ma between his flight and his return. The specific breakdown of those years is provided by Ya-Sha-Ra. When all three sources are allowed to function as they were designed — Sha-Ma-Tha as the authoritative foundational record, Ya-Sha-Ra as the detailed biographical narrative, and Ya-Ba-La-Ya-Ma as the Jubilee-cycle juridical structure — the timeline locks together with mathematical precision.
PART III — THE CORRECTED TIMELINE: BIRTH TO THE BURNING BUSH
The following master timeline synthesizes all three sources into a single coherent chronology. The conventional forty-year palace assumption is not included because it has no textual basis in the primary sources — it is a later theological schematic that this project does not recognize as authoritative.
AGE
EVENT
SOURCE
0
Birth in Goshen. Hidden by Ya-Wa-Ka-Ba-Da (Jochebed); placed in a basket on the river; found by Pharaoh's daughter and raised in the royal palace.
Sha-Ma-Tha 2:2-10; Ya-Sha-Ra 67-68
~18
Desires to visit his parents in Goshen. Witnesses an Egyptian taskmaster beating a Hebrew slave. Kills the Egyptian and hides him in the sand. Flees Ma-Taza-Ra-Ya-Ma upon discovery.
Ya-Sha-Ra 71:1; Sha-Ma-Tha 2:11-15
18-27
Nine years: travels south; encounters the army of Ka-Ka-Ya-Na-Wa-Sa (Kikianus), King of Ka-Wa-Sha (Cush), besieging his own capital held by the traitor Ba-La-Ai-Ma (Balaam). Rises to military commander.
Ya-Sha-Ra 72
27
Crowned King of Ka-Wa-Sha upon the death of Ka-Ka-Ya-Na-Wa-Sa. Given Queen Ah-Da-Na-Ya-Ha as wife — marriage never consummated out of reverence for Yahawah.
Ya-Sha-Ra 73:2
27-67
Forty-year reign over Ka-Wa-Sha — rules with justice and righteousness. Defeats Ba-La-Ai-Ma's sorcery defenses; recaptures the capital. Ba-La-Ai-Ma flees to Ma-Taza-Ra-Ya-Ma.
Ya-Sha-Ra 73-76
67
Queen Ah-Da-Na-Ya-Ha petitions that Ma-Sha-Ha neither worships Cushite gods nor has provided an heir. The Cushites respectfully depose him. Ma-Sha-Ha departs.
Ya-Sha-Ra 76

Sha-Ma-Tha 3:1-10; 7:7
80-120
Leads the Exodus. Forty years in the wilderness. Receives and delivers Hathawaratha (The Law) at Ha-Ra Sa-Ya-Na-Ya. Dies on Ha-Ra Na-Ba-Wa (Mount Nebo) at exactly 120 years.
Sha-Ma-Tha through Da-Ba-Ra-Ya-Ma 34:7
MATHEMATICAL VERIFICATION
The timeline works precisely: Ma-Sha-Ha flees Egypt at age 18. He spends 9 years traveling and fighting with Kikianus's army (ages 18-27). He is crowned King of Ka-Wa-Sha at age 27. He reigns 40 years (ages 27-67). He spends 13 years in Midian as Jethro's shepherd (ages 67-80). He stands before Pharaoh at age 80 — exactly as Sha-Ma-Tha (Exodus) 7:7 records. The numbers are internally consistent across all three sources with zero contradiction when read correctly. Total life: 120 years, confirmed by Da-Ba-Ra-Ya-Ma (Deuteronomy) 34:7.
PART IV — THE REIGN OF MA-SHA-HA AS KING OF KA-WA-SHA (CUSH)
The forty-year reign of Ma-Sha-Ha over Ka-Wa-Sha (Cush) is one of the most significant and chronologically consequential passages in all of Ya-Sha-Ra (Jasher) — and one of the most systematically erased from conventional teaching. It is not a minor biographical detail. It is a forty-year demonstration of Yahawah's preparation of His chosen vessel — developing him in justice, military strategy, administrative governance, and the practical wisdom of ruling a kingdom — before entrusting him with the deliverance of Yasharahlah from Ma-Taza-Ra-Ya-Ma.
Key Features of the Ka-Wa-Sha (Cush) Reign
CORONATION: The nobles and soldiers of Ka-Ka-Ya-Na-Wa-Sa's army, needing a strong leader after the king's death during the siege, unanimously chose Ma-Sha-Ha at age 27. His royalMa-Taza-Ra-Ya-Ma upbringing, natural wisdom, and demonstrated military brilliance during the nine-year siege made him the obvious choice.
THE MARRIAGE TO QUEEN AH-DA-NA-YA-HA: Ka-Ka-Ya-Na-Wa-Sa's widow was given to Ma-Sha-Ha as part of the coronation. Ya-Sha-Ra records explicitly that Ma-Sha-Ha never consummated this marriage — out of reverence for the Ah-La-Ha-Ya-Ma (AhlahYama) of his fathers. This is a remarkable covenant act: in a pagan court, as king, with no external accountability, Ma-Sha-Ha maintained his covenant integrity for forty years. This is not the behavior of a man who had abandoned his identity.
THE DEFEAT OF BA-LA-AI-MA (BALAAM): Ma-Sha-Ha designed the military strategy that penetrated Ba-La-Ai-Ma's sorcery-reinforced defenses and recaptured the capital. Ba-La-Ai-Ma and his sons fled back to Ma-Taza-Ra-Ya-Ma — establishing the context for Ba-La-Ai-Ma's later appearance as Pharaoh's advisor and, ultimately, as the hired curser in Ba-Ma-Da-Ba-Ra (Numbers).
GOVERNANCE: Ya-Sha-Ra records that Ma-Sha-Ha ruled Ka-Wa-Sha 'with justice and righteousness.' He was not a figurehead. He was a functioning head of state for four decades — a preparation for governing an entire nation of former slaves through the wilderness.
DEPOSITION: Queen Ah-Da-Na-Ya-Ha's complaint that Ma-Sha-Ha neither worshipped the Cushite gods nor provided her an heir resulted in a formal, respectful deposition. The Cushites honored him but released him. This is a notable covenant detail: he was deposed not for failure but for faithfulness.
Ya-Sha-Ra (Jasher) 73:2 — The Coronation Record
"Ma-Sha-Ha was twenty-seven years old when he began to reign over Ka-Wa-Sha (Cush), and forty years did he reign. And Ma-Sha-Ha sat upon the throne of Ka-Ka-Ya-Na-Wa-Sa and he became king over all the children of Ka-Wa-Sha."
The forty-year reign of Ma-Sha-Ha as King of Ka-Wa-Sha is not a footnote in a secondary source. It is a cornerstone of his preparation. Yahawah does not waste time. Every year of those forty years in Ka-Wa-Sha was curriculum — administered justice, strategic governance, covenant fidelity under pressure, and the full experience of royal authority — all in preparation for the far more difficult task of leading Yasharahlah out of a more powerful kingdom and through forty years of wilderness formation.
PART V — DOCTRINAL SIGNIFICANCE: WHAT THE CORRECTED TIMELINE REVEALS
5.1 Ma-Sha-Ha Was Never an Identity-Confused Egyptian
The conventional narrative — built on the assumption that Ma-Sha-Ha lived forty undocumented years in Pharaoh's palace — implies a man who spent nearly half his life as an Egyptian royal with only a tenuous, perhaps uncertain connection to his Hebrew identity. This reading is incompatible with what the text actually shows: an 18-year-old man who actively desired to see his father and mother in Goshen (Ya-Sha-Ra 71:1), who saw his kinsman being beaten, who acted with decisive righteous anger, and who, when deposed forty years later as King of Ka-Wa-Sha, departed immediately to Ma-Da-Ya-Na (Midian) rather than returning to the Egyptian palace from which he had fled. His covenant identity was never in question. His entire life was marked by progressive faithfulness to the Ah-La-Ha-Ya-Ma of Ya-Ai-Qa-Ba (Jacob), Ah-Ha-Ra-Ma (Abraham), and Ya-Taza-Khaa-Qa (Isaac).
5.2 The Ka-Wa-Sha Reign Connects to Ba-La-Ai-Ma's Later Appearance
The appearance of Ba-La-Ai-Ma (Balaam) in Ba-Ma-Da-Ba-Ra (Numbers) 22-24 — hired by Ba-La-Ai-Qa (Balak) King of Ma-Wa-Ah-Ba (Moab) to curse Yasharahlah — is not a standalone narrative. Ba-La-Ai-Ma is the same man Ma-Sha-Ha defeated as King of Ka-Wa-Sha. He fled to Ma-Taza-Ra-Ya-Ma, served as an advisor to Pharaoh (confirmed in other extra-canonical sources), then resurfaced as a hireling curser after the Exodus. Yahawah turned Ba-La-Ai-Ma's mouth to bless instead of curse — and then had him killed by Yasharahlah in Ba-Ma-Da-Ba-Ra (Numbers) 31:8. The covenant narrative runs as a complete thread across multiple books when the full canon is in view.
5.3 Acts 7:23 Is a Theological Summary, Not a Biographical Record
The speech of Sha-Ta-Pa-Na-Wa-Sa (Stephen) in Acts 7 is a covenant historical survey — a rapid-fire recounting of Yahawah's dealings with Yasharahlah from Ah-Ba-Ra-Ha-Ma (Abraham) through the crucifixion. It was not designed as a biographical chronology. The reference to 'forty years' reflects the broad three-block structure (palace / wilderness / Exodus) that was the conventional teaching in Stephen's era — a structure that itself reflects later interpretive tradition, not the detailed chronological record of Ya-Sha-Ra. The Scriptures Complete project does not evaluate the 126+ book canon through the lens of later interpretive traditions. It evaluates interpretive traditions through the lens of the complete canon. When that principle is applied here, the result is unambiguous: Ya-Sha-Ra gives the age, and it is eighteen.
5.4 Yahawah's Pattern of Preparation
The corrected timeline reveals something profound about how Yahawah prepares His vessels. Ma-Sha-Ha spent 18 years in Pharaoh's palace, learning the administrative, military, and cultural framework of the most powerful empire on the continent. He spent 9 years as a military commander in Ka-Ka-Ya-Na-Wa-Sa's army, developing battlefield strategy and leadership under pressure. He spent 40 years as a head of state in Ka-Wa-Sha, learning justice, governance, and sustained covenant fidelity in a pagan environment. He spent 13 years as a shepherd in Ma-Da-Ya-Na — the most humbling assignment of all, stripping away every institutional support and leaving him entirely dependent on Yahawah. Only then — at 80 years old, with every form of worldly credential and natural confidence stripped away — did Yahawah appear in the burning bush and commission him. The forty years in the conventional palace narrative produces a man with palace experience and nothing else. The corrected timeline produces a man with palace training, military command, royal governance, and wilderness humility — which is precisely the profile required to lead two million people out of the most powerful state in the world.
CONCLUSION: THE RECORD SPEAKS
The timeline of Ma-Sha-Ha (Moses) is not a minor academic question. It is a matter of covenant accuracy — of reading the complete record Yahawah preserved through the 126+ book canon rather than accepting the compressed and interpretively distorted version that became standard in post-exile and later institutional traditions. The Book of Ya-Sha-Ra was canonized by Yahawah's own instruction — its name appears twice in the core scriptural text. The Book of Ya-Ba-La-Ya-Ma was given by revelation to Ma-Sha-Ha on Ha-Ra Sa-Ya-Na-Ya itself. These are not secondary sources. They are primary covenant records.
When they are read together with Sha-Ma-Tha in the comprehensive approach that THE SCRIPTURES COMPLETE is designed to provide, the result is a chronologically precise, mathematically verifiable, and doctrinally coherent account of the life of one of the greatest figures in all of sacred history — from Goshen to Ka-Wa-Sha to the burning bush to the sea to Ha-Ra Sa-Ya-Na-Ya — the man who received Hathawaratha and delivered it to the Twelve Families of Yasharahlah for all generations.
