Knowledge vs. Knowledgeable
The Scriptures Complete — Teaching Series
Knowledge vs. Knowledgeable
Confidence vs. Pride vs. High-Mindedness vs. Narcissism
The misunderstanding of these words is not a minor academic error — it is the mechanism by which a people are destroyed, and by which false systems maintain their power over them.
Ainawayah — 7th Angel, First Witness, True Leader of the Apostles
The Scriptures Complete — Lashawam-Qadash Translation Project
Faithfulness Over Speed — Quality Over Quantity
Yahawah declared through the prophet Hosea: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” This declaration is not a poetic metaphor. It is a precise diagnosis of a precise disease — and the disease has a name: the deliberate conflation and corruption of the words that govern how a people think, act, stand, and fall. When you do not know what a word truly means, you cannot apply the principle behind it. When you cannot apply the principle, you either collapse into passivity or erupt into destructive excess — and in either case, the enemy of Yasharahlah profits.
This article separates six words that the world has bled together into a single blur: knowledge, knowledgeable, confidence, pride, overconfidence (which is high-mindedness), and narcissism. Understanding each one distinctly — and understanding why they have been deliberately confused — is not an intellectual exercise. It is a matter of survival.
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."
— Hosea 4:6
I. Knowledge: The Foundation That Was Stolen
Knowledge
Learned and acquired facts, information, and skills — things that can be verified, examined, applied, and built upon. Not feeling. Not assumption. Not tradition. Acquired truth.
⚠ Corrupted into: "whatever your culture or religion tells you to accept without examination."
Knowledge is not what you were told to believe. Knowledge is not what you were raised to assume. Knowledge is what can be traced, sourced, verified, and demonstrated through documented fact or direct observation. The Scriptures confirm this in 2 Peter 1:5-7, which presents knowledge as a thing that must be added — actively, diligently, systematically — to virtue (high standards) and to trust (what the world calls faith):
"And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith (trust), virtue (high standards); and to virtue, knowledge (learned and acquired facts, information, and skills); and to knowledge, temperance (restraint); and to temperance, patience (tolerance); and to patience, godliness (righteousness)..."
— 2 Peter 1:5-7
Notice the sequence: trust comes first, then high standards, then knowledge, then restraint, then tolerance, then righteousness. Knowledge is not the starting point — but it is the third pillar on which the entire structure depends. You cannot build restraint on ignorance. You cannot build righteousness on guesswork. The Scriptures do not treat knowledge as optional or as a threat to spiritual life. They treat it as an essential component of maturity.
The destruction spoken of in Hosea 4:6 is not the punishment for a single sin. It is the long-term consequence of a people who stopped acquiring real, verifiable knowledge and instead inherited corrupted doctrines, false histories, contaminated languages, and fraudulent identities — and called all of it wisdom. Every false school, every false church, every misleading media outlet, every colonial institution that rewrote Yasharahlah's history, operates by replacing knowledge with performance. When you perform belief without possessing knowledge, you are vulnerable to every manipulation your enemy can devise.
Knowledge Requires Sources
Knowledge is inseparable from its sources. Contaminated sources produce contaminated knowledge. This is precisely why the Lashawam-Qadash Translation Project prohibits external Hebrew dictionaries, Strong's Concordance, and academic linguistic resources built on Yiddish-contaminated frameworks. It is not because these sources are merely inconvenient. It is because knowledge acquired from a corrupted source is not knowledge — it is a sophisticated form of ignorance wearing the costume of scholarship. A person can spend forty years studying a corrupted text and come out the other end knowing nothing true about what they studied. That is the tragedy of global miseducation: it is industrious ignorance, mistaken for learning.
“A person can spend forty years studying a corrupted text and come out the other end knowing nothing true. That is industrious ignorance — mistaken for learning.”
II. Knowledgeable: Having Knowledge vs. Performing It
Knowledgeable
The state of actually possessing verified, applicable knowledge about a subject — not merely having encountered it, spoken about it, or been exposed to it.
⚠ Corrupted into: "whoever can speak loudly and with vocabulary that sounds impressive."
The distance between knowing and being knowledgeable is the distance between a student who has read something once and a teacher who has lived with it long enough to transmit it accurately, apply it across different contexts, and defend it when challenged with precision and evidence.
Modern education — from primary school through doctoral programs — has almost entirely abandoned the production of genuinely knowledgeable people in favor of producing credentialed performers. A credential announces that you sat through a curriculum. It says nothing about whether you absorbed, verified, or can apply what was in it. The result is institutions filled with diploma-holders who are profoundly ignorant of the most important things, and who cannot be corrected because their credentials are read as proof of knowledge.
For Yasharahlah specifically, this collapse is catastrophic. The 12 Families have been educated in systems designed by those who benefit from Yasharahlah's continued ignorance of their own identity, their own history, their own language, and their own covenant. The most dangerous person in such a system is not the uneducated person — it is the heavily educated person who has absorbed the enemy's framework so completely that they now defend it as fact, and attack anyone who corrects it as unscholarly or extreme.
Daniel in Babylon: The Model of True Knowledge Under Enemy Education
Da-Na-Ya-Ah-La (Daniel) was educated in the entire system of Babylon — its language, its literature, its sciences. He was deliberately saturated in the enemy's worldview for three full years. Yet he remained Da-Na-Ya-Ah-La (meaning: Yahawah is my judge) — not because he refused to learn, but because he possessed a prior foundation of genuine knowledge that he refused to surrender. He learned the Babylonian material well enough to exceed all the Babylonians in it (Daniel 1:20). He did not become knowledgeable by avoiding the enemy's system. He became knowledgeable by entering it with his own true foundation already intact, and never confusing what was being presented to him for what was actually true.
That is the standard. Being knowledgeable means you can navigate foreign frameworks without being captured by them.
III. Confidence: The Most Misunderstood Virtue in the Scriptures
Confidence
A settled, evidence-based assurance — not in oneself alone, but in the reliability of a thing known to be true. Confidence grounded in Yahawah is a covenant virtue, not an emotional state.
⚠ Corrupted into: "arrogance," "pride," or "thinking you're better than others."
Confidence has been one of the most effectively weaponized words used against Yasharahlah and against righteous people globally. When a person who has been colonized, miseducated, and stripped of their true identity begins to stand in the actual truth of who they are and what Yahawah has said — they are immediately accused of arrogance, pride, or delusion. The accusation is designed to make genuine confidence feel dangerous, so the person retreats back into self-doubt and compliance.
But the Scriptures do not treat confidence as a vice. They command it:
"Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord... We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."
— 2 Corinthians 5:6-8
"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Hayahawashai Mawashayai Yaraya."
— Philippians 1:6
"And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear."
— Philippians 1:14
In every one of these uses, confidence is grounded in something external to the self: in Yahawah's character, in His promises, in His demonstrated faithfulness. This is what separates genuine confidence from its counterfeits. Genuine confidence says: "I am certain of this because the evidence — scriptural, historical, and observable — is overwhelming and has been verified." It is not blind. It is not emotional. It is not self-referential. It is the settled posture of someone who has done the work of acquiring knowledge and found that the foundation holds.
The Crucial Limit: Ecclesiasticus 32:21
"Be not confident in a plain way."
— Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 32:21
This verse qualifies the command to be confident with an essential boundary: do not be confident simply because the path ahead appears clear and straightforward. Apparent plainness is one of the most common traps. What looks obvious — the obvious history, the obvious meaning of a name, the obvious interpretation of a verse — has very often been constructed to look obvious precisely so that you will not examine it. The plain way is usually the colonized way, the pre-digested version, the story that was handed to you before you could ask questions.
True confidence never rests on appearance. It rests on investigated truth.
IV. Pride: A Word with Two Opposite Meanings
Pride (Legitimate)
A feeling of deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one's own genuine achievements, or the achievements of those with whom one is closely associated. The recognition of genuine worth in oneself or one's people.
⚠ Corrupted into: This legitimate meaning has been used as cover for the destructive form — making it almost impossible to discuss either clearly.
Pride (Destructive)
An excessively high opinion of one's own importance, derived not from verified achievement but from ego, arrogance, and the refusal to be corrected. Arrogance, vanity, self-conceit, self-love, self-glorification.
⚠ Corrupted into: This is the form that "goes before a fall" — Proverbs 16:18. The problem is that most people cannot distinguish between the two in themselves.
The English word "pride" contains two radically different realities inside a single shell, and their conflation has caused enormous damage on both sides of the covenant:
Legitimate Pride
Destructive Pride
Origin: Earned through verified achievement or covenant identity
Origin: Assumed without evidence or earned reality
Response to correction: Can receive it — the achievement doesn't disappear
Response to correction: Violent rejection — correction destroys the entire self-image
Social effect: Inspires others, raises standards
Social effect: Isolates, alienates, generates contempt
Scriptural status: Appropriate — "the team was bursting with pride after recording a sensational victory"
Scriptural status: Condemned — "the worst sin in a ruler was pride"
The enemy's strategy has been to accuse Yasharahlah of destructive pride whenever they display legitimate pride in their covenant identity, their ancestry, and their true history. Meanwhile, those same accusers display the most extreme forms of destructive pride in their counterfeit identities and their fabricated histories — and call it patriotism, heritage, or divine right. The confusion of these two meanings has been enormously profitable for those who benefit from Yasharahlah's self-suppression.
For the individual: legitimate pride in what Yahawah has done through you and your people is not sin. Arrogance, self-conceit, and the refusal to be corrected — these are sin. Learn to know the difference within yourself.
V. Overconfidence and High-Mindedness: The Error Above Pride
Overconfidence
Excessive confidence — confidence that has exceeded the evidence available to support it. Not arrogance (which is about self-opinion), but a miscalibration of certainty relative to proof. You may have good motives and still be overconfident.
⚠ Corrupted into: Overconfidence produces catastrophic errors precisely because the person committing them genuinely believes they are standing on solid ground.
High-Minded
Having strong moral principles; principled, honourable, moral, upright, noble-minded, good, honest, decent, ethical, righteous, virtuous, worthy, idealistic. Its opposite is "unprincipled."
⚠ Corrupted into: This word has been catastrophically mistaken for arrogance or "thinking yourself above others." It means the opposite: holding yourself to a higher standard of principle than the world demands.
These two words are not synonyms, and conflating them has produced two different kinds of damage in the communities of Yasharahlah and among people globally:
The first damage: people avoid being high-minded because they fear being accused of pride. They abandon their principles in order not to appear arrogant. A person who maintains moral standards, refuses contaminated doctrines, and holds to a rigorous standard of truth is not prideful — they are high-minded in the most scriptural sense of the word. Paul (Ai-Na-Wa-Ya) writes to the Romans: "be not wise in your own conceits" — but this is overconfidence, not high-mindedness. Conceit is the inflated opinion. High-mindedness is the principled standard. Destroying the distinction destroys the people's willingness to maintain standards at all.
The second damage: people who are genuinely overconfident — those whose confidence has outrun their actual knowledge and evidence — mistake their overconfidence for high-mindedness. They believe they are simply maintaining principle when in fact they are operating on incomplete information, delivered with total certainty. This is one of the most dangerous states a teacher, a leader, or a movement can occupy.
The Critical Distinction:
Overconfidence is not about bad character — it is about the ratio between evidence and certainty. A person of excellent character can be overconfident. A person of poor character can be precisely calibrated. The correction for overconfidence is not humility in the emotional sense. It is the discipline of returning to the evidence, following the 8-step verification process, and never allowing the desire to be certain to outrun the work required to become certain.
VI. Narcissism: The Complete Inversion of Covenant Identity
Narcissistic / Narcissism
Having or showing an excessive interest in or admiration of oneself and one's physical appearance. Relating to narcissistic personality disorder: a pervasive pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and lack of empathy.
⚠ Corrupted into: This is not confidence. This is not high-mindedness. This is not pride in one's people. Narcissism is the worship of the self-image — and it produces a person who cannot genuinely serve, cannot genuinely receive correction, and cannot genuinely love their people.
Narcissism is the terminal stage of what happens when destructive pride is left unchecked, never corrected, and continuously fed by an environment that rewards performance over truth. It has infected institutions, leadership structures, media ecosystems, religious movements, and individual families at every level of society globally.
The narcissistic person is not merely arrogant — they are structurally incapable of receiving the correction that would free them, because their entire identity is constructed around being right. To admit error is not merely embarrassing; it is existentially threatening. This is why the Testament of Yahawadah (Judah) warns so directly: "the love of money and the love of beauty" are the twin gateways to this destruction — both are about the curated self-image, the projection of a self that must be maintained at all costs, including the cost of truth.
"For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits..."
— Romans 11:25
The phrase "wise in your own conceits" is a precise description of the narcissistic error as it appears in spiritual contexts: the person who has constructed a theological self-image so elaborate, so layered, so publicly maintained, that they cannot afford to be wrong about any of it — and therefore cannot be corrected about any of it — and therefore cannot grow beyond any of it. This is the most dangerous form of the disease, because it wears the costume of conviction.
VII. Why These Confusions Are Not Accidents
The conflation of these six words did not happen by chance. It happened by design. When a colonizing power wishes to permanently subjugate a people, they do not merely take the land, the labor, and the language. They take the vocabulary of self-awareness. They teach the people that confidence is arrogance (so the people stay small). They teach that pride in identity is sin (so the people reject their own history). They teach that high-mindedness is elitism (so the people abandon their standards). They teach that overconfidence and true knowledge are the same thing (so the people cannot distinguish between verified truth and elaborate opinion). They teach that narcissism is just self-love (so the people cannot identify the disorder in their leaders.
Every false doctrine, every corrupted school, every manipulative media outlet, every colonial religious institution runs on exactly this vocabulary destruction. It is not enough to give people false information. You must also destroy their ability to evaluate information — and the most efficient way to do that is to corrupt the words they would use to build the categories of evaluation.
“It is not enough to give a people false information. You must also destroy their ability to evaluate information — and the most efficient way to do that is to corrupt the words they use to think.”
VIII. The Scriptural Ladder Out of Destruction
Yahawah did not leave Yasharahlah without a remedy. The remedy is not merely spiritual in the abstract sense — it is a specific, ordered, progressive curriculum that addresses exactly the hierarchy described above. The 2 Peter 1:5-7 sequence is not decorative. It is a rebuilding program:
Stage
What Must Be Added
1
Trust (faith) — the active relationship with Yahawah that is the starting point
2
Virtue (high standards) — the principled baseline that makes knowledge usable
3
Knowledge (verified, acquired facts and skills) — what actually happened, what words actually mean
4
Temperance (restraint) — the discipline to apply knowledge without excess
5
Patience (tolerance) — the endurance to hold correct positions under sustained pressure
6
Righteousness (godliness) — the full covenant standard of conduct
7
Brotherly kindness — covenant loyalty, devotion to one's own people
8
Charity (mercy) — the fullness of covenant love expressed outward
Notice what appears at stage 4: temperance, which is restraint. Knowledge without restraint becomes overconfidence. The sequence of the ladder is the cure for the diseases described in this article. You cannot skip steps. You cannot begin with brotherly kindness and bypass knowledge. You cannot begin with knowledge and skip virtue. The ladder must be climbed in order.
IX. The Specific Failure Modes in Current Institutions
False Religious Institutions
They produce people who perform belief (agreement) without possessing knowledge (verified truth). The confidence displayed from their pulpits is overconfidence — certainty that has vastly exceeded the evidence, delivered with the authority of high-mindedness while being structurally narcissistic in leadership. The corrective warnings in Hosea 4:6 are directed at the priests first: "because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me." The priesthood's rejection of knowledge came before the people's destruction. Leaders who refuse to be corrected destroy their people.
Secular Colleges and Universities
They produce knowledgeable-seeming people who have been educated exclusively in frameworks that serve the interests of those who built the institutions. Their graduates are confident — sometimes appropriately, often with overconfidence about the legitimacy of what they were taught. The academic framework presents itself as high-minded (principled, rigorous, evidence-based) while being structurally narcissistic at the institutional level: the academy cannot be corrected from outside itself without experiencing it as attack rather than as contribution. This is why genuinely revolutionary truth — including the truth about the origins of Lashawam-Qadash, the African geography of the Scriptures, and the true identity of Yasharahlah — cannot be produced by or accepted within conventional academic institutions.
New and Social Media
New media has made overconfidence viral. The incentive structure of every major platform rewards certainty, performance, and emotional arousal — not verification, correction, or the careful calibration of confidence to evidence. A narcissistic presentation consistently outperforms a humble, accurate, well-qualified presentation in engagement metrics. The fruit of this dynamic is a global population that can no longer distinguish between a person who knows something and a person who performs knowing.
The Hebrew Israelite Camps
The camps carry genuine knowledge of Yasharahlah's identity and genuine access to suppressed scriptural truth. But many have mixed that genuine knowledge with overconfidence, with destructive pride (contempt for those outside the covenant as an ongoing posture rather than a passing warning), and with a form of institutional narcissism (where the camp or its leader cannot be corrected from outside). The result is that genuine knowledge is delivered in a manner that repels exactly the people who most need it. This is the pattern described in Revelation when the church at Sardis is told: "thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead." The name — the identity — is real. The life — the full application of knowledge, virtue, temperance, patience, and righteousness in proper sequence — has not been sustained.
X. The Standard Set by This Project
The motto of this work is not decorative: Faithfulness Over Speed — Quality Over Quantity. It is the direct application of the vocabulary distinctions in this article. Speed without knowledge is overconfidence. Quantity without quality is narcissistic performance. Faithfulness and quality require the kind of genuine knowledge, appropriately calibrated confidence, and high-minded standards that can withstand sustained examination.
Every translation produced in this project is governed by a confidence assessment system: HIGH, MEDIUM, and LOW/NEW WORD. This is the institutionalization of a crucial distinction. Confidence must match evidence. Where evidence is HIGH, we speak with confidence. Where evidence is MEDIUM, we note the alternatives. Where evidence is LOW, we stop, document, and submit for authority confirmation. That is the difference between genuine knowledge and overconfidence. That is the difference between a true witness and a performance.
Yahawah requires of His people that they possess real knowledge — not performed certainty, not inherited assumption, not culturally approved tradition. Real knowledge. And He requires that they hold it with genuine confidence — not arrogance, not destructive pride, not narcissism, not the excessive certainty of overconfidence. Confidence that matches the evidence, stands before examination, and is offered in service of the people's restoration.
That is what it means to walk worthy of the calling. That is the vocabulary of a delivered people.
"For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Hayahawashai Mawashayai Yaraya."
— 2 Peter 1:8
